Yarborough Forward
Yarborough Forward is an award winning group of individuals and serice providers that work together:-
- to work together to ensure that all opprtunities and services are delivered for the good of the Yarborough Community.
- to encourage community participation regardless of gender, culture, ability, disability or background.
- to encourage community, voluntary and statutary agencies to work in partnership for the benefit of the community.
The existing members of Yarborough Forward feel that the area that it represents, and the membership of the group should be more representative of the Yarborough area, and that the decisions that the group takes should not be taken by a small group of residents who live in and around theYarborough Estate.
If you live in the Yarborough area, and would like to learn more about the work of the group, or if you would like to become involved in the work of Yarborough Forward then why not come to the next meeting, which takes place on Thursday 15th November at 6.00pm in the Resource Centre in Central Parade?
The meeting will include an assessment of the priorities of the local residents by representatives of N E Lincs Council, a presentation from Humberside Police on the involvement of the community in deciding priorities for neighbourhood policing, and a presentation from Mr S Hocknell of N E Lincs Council, portfolio holder for Culture, Leisure and Healthier Communities who will speak about the future plans for the Yarborough area.
