Petition for Pedestrian Crossing on the A46
Tonight was the meeting of the Scrutiny Panel for Environment, Culture and Tourism, and one of the items on the agenda was thepetition for a safe pedestrian crossing on the A46 between Bradley Crossroads and Morrisons. John Blanch presented an very good case for the crossing, and I also spoke in support. We received strong support from some of the members of the committee, and I am hopeful that it will not be too long before we hear some good news from the Council – and be sure that I shall let you know the results as soon as I hear them! For anyone interested who was unable to attend the meeting I have attached the notes I made before the meeting which I used on the night.
